The Yoga Project is an immersive, interdisciplinary performance blending theater, movement, music, and visual projections to transform the familiar language and rituals of contemporary wellness culture into a charged exploration of power and control.

At its center is an examination of the Western commodification of yoga and Eastern spiritual traditions: who gets to package them, who is granted authority to teach them, who is expected to follow, and who ultimately profits. As the retreat's promise of liberation becomes increasingly suspect, the work asks what happens when practices intended to foster healing, self-knowledge, and transformation are repurposed as systems of discipline and obedience.

Moving between embodied performance and psychological suspense, The Yoga Project explores the construction of identity and authority—and the uneasy distance between surrendering to a practice and surrendering control.
