Marissa Mahoney is a versatile artist, dancer, performer, and choreographer. She holds a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography, a BA in Strategic Communications, and a minor in Creative Writing from Elon University. Marissa’s recent highlights include performances in HARVEST, LUME Dance Collective’s DESOLATION, People Play Dance Theatre's PLAYSPACES, Open Floor Performing Arts Group’s "Stories of My Life", GREENLINE, CARNIVAL, the U.S. Premiere of DISCOFOOT and more. As the founder of the dance collective RISSTHEMOVEMENT, she has created an extensive portfolio of work and was honored to perform in and to present original choreography at San Pedro Festival of the Arts, Pasadena Art Night, Brockus' 15 Year Celebration Choreography Contest (Winner), Mash Up Open Mic Night, ChoCoLA Spring Works, LA Women's Theatre 33rd Annual Festival, Versatility Dance Festival, NACHMO LA, Encounter LA, Brockus Red’s 2025 Winter Showcase, Chorea Festival, MATCH Summer Residency, and many other prominent venues.


Rachel Turner is an LA-based dancer, teacher, and choreographer. She is originally from Chicago and received her BA in Dance from Columbia University. Turner has performed with DancEthos, Maverick Lemons Dance Project, T2 Dance Project, Jana Taylor + Dancers, and Maura Townsend Dance Project. In addition, she toured with Dakshina/Daniel Phoenix Singh Company to Europe and India. In 2015, she founded Errant Movement, a modern dance company, and has shown her choreography in D.C., Chicago, Philadelphia, Detroit, and California. Turner has produced various dance showcases, including the 2017 DAnCEacostia! Festival, which was supported by a grant from the DC Commission on Arts and Humanities. She has presented her work across the country, including as part of Detroit Dance City Festival, National Dance Education Organization Conference Professional Showcase, Capital Fringe Festival in Washington DC, HHII Dance Festival in Santa Barbara, Mash Up Open Mic Night, and ChoCoLA Showcase at LA Dance Project. She is the regional director of NACHMO Los Angeles and teaches contemporary dance at Campbell Hall.
