About The Event

Three works trace the body's journey through time—from the haunting marks of what we've survived, through the raw intensity of presence, toward a future that demands we rise. Beginning with an excavation of memory's indelible impressions, the evening builds to a defiant vision of resistance, asking: what do we shed, what do we carry, and what legacy will our bodies leave behind?

Reminiscence: Reminiscence explores echoing memories of brief moments of interactions and their everlasting effects that mark and shape who we are. This work examines the smears left on our souls, bodies and minds from past encounters, questioning whether these imprints serve as essential layers of selfhood or burdens

that obscure our authentic essence.

Drift: A duet exploring the circular nature of care and time. As one figure's present fades, their distant past grows vivid—roles reverse, protector becomes protected. Through this gentle unraveling, the work seeks not grief but grace, discovering how love deepens in meeting each other exactly where they are, even as the ground shifts beneath them.

Rise: What begins as individual defiance becomes collective power. Confronting political turmoil, bodies unite and find strength in numbers. This work ignites a generation, affirming that community is not just comfort but the very engine of transformation.
