About The Event

An evening of raw, emotionally charged dance works confronting fear, transformation, and the act of showing up—again and again.

Donna Sternberg presents an excerpt of Maya, a multimedia collaboration between scientist David Nelson, digital artist Michael Masucci, and choreographer Sternberg in collaboration with the dancers. This thought-provoking piece investigates the nature of reality—inviting audiences to question how we know what’s real and what’s illusion through layered visuals, scientific inquiry, and evocative movement.

Alyssa Milligan, in collaboration with D. Payne, presents Unconvinced, a deeply personal exploration of trauma, survival, and healing. Rooted in real-life experience, the work grapples with the weight of fear and the long road of emotional processing. Through movement and memory, the artist navigates the fragments of a life-altering moment, honoring each piece as it surfaces—committed to truth, clarity, and self-witness.

Anna Kazwell and Rebecca Aguilar present Untitled, a duet that probes the unsettling moments we often avoid. With layered choreography and shifting perspectives, the piece investigates how we respond when forced to remove our protective lenses and confront the chaos we cannot control.

Also featuring work by Alexandria Paige Amstutz, a Los Angeles-based performer whose work spans concert dance, video projects, and rehearsal direction. Her choreography centers physical precision and emotional clarity.
