As the show unfolds, the entire performance will be a testament to the dancers' journey, with every moment improvised.

Guided by prompts for introspection and a commitment to push beyond their thresholds of 'liminality,' the performers will create a unique, unscripted narrative. Witness the magic as these artists explore the boundaries between choreography and spontaneity, transcending traditional dance norms. The immersive experience will also feature captivating performances by esteemed guest artists Tori Cristi, G'bari Denzel, Ijay Espinoza, and Noelle Falcis, adding an extra layer of brilliance to an evening of radical joy and connection.

ABOUT THE CURATOR

Victoria Villamil, “Tori Cristi” is a Salvadoran Filipina performance artist, choreographer, and educator. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Tori's work focuses on the intersections between culture and collective healing. She specializes in Punking & Whacking, she has trained in multiple disciplines such as jazz, contemporary along with street and club forms of dance. She has worked with organizations such as HYBE America, Red Bull Dance, Heidi Duckler, The Music Center and more. She is a founder of the organization Whacking Los Angeles. Tori continues to create purpose driven art and empower individuals to nurture their unique authenticity.
