The Remembrance: Decolonizing Minds, Bodies, and Spirits

About The Event

What does it mean to decolonize?

It means remembering.

Before movement was performance, it was prayer.

Before healing was clinical, it was ancestral.

Before high art existed, we were the art.

Through a weeklong immersion in Afro-diasporic and street dance forms—woven with practices of holistic wellness—this intensive invites a return to balance. Guided by the energies of the Divine Feminine and Masculine, dancers move beyond form into truth. It all culminates in a final offering: a stage alive with stories, spirit, and embodied healing.
