About The Event
Argentina, 1970s. Two troubled women on the edge see their lives intertwined when they embark on a vicious crusade of revenge, fueled by shifting passions and haunting secrets.
A desperate young woman goes to a clinic to have a clandestine abortion. As her pregnancy is already in its fourth month, the doctor refuses to perform it, proposing instead to sell the baby to one of her clients while simultaneously offering to provide shelter in her house until the child is born. Their disturbed personalities become intertwined in a strange and dangerous relationship in this queer erotic thriller with shades of Almodovar and DePalma.
