About The Event
A small Youtuber occasionally making half ironic videos for few to see. A half narrative, half experimental view of the numb feeling of consuming endless amounts of content online instead of doing anything else, forever.
"bracing and eerily imaginative, a bleak dispatch of lives lived inside whatever memes or YouTube tutorials or panic-inducing diversions we're sucked in by at the moment" - Michael Phillips, Chicago Tribune
"ENDLESS CONTENT FOREVER describes Extremely Online numbness without succumbing to irony poisoning or reducing itself to cinematic shit-posting" - Steve Erickson, CINE-FILE
Director Jacob Gregor is originally from Columbus, Ohio but is now based in Chicago. His shorts have played at festivals like Slamdance and his first feature, Endless Content Forever, won the jury prize for best narrative feature at the Chicago Underground Film Festival. IG & Twitter: @jacobgorb
