About The Event
Together Kearian and Abriel have created a duet entitled Peony Picnic. Both versed in multi-hyphenated performance modalities, they work on merging the likeness of performance art and dance to create an expressive performance of ritual, healing and physical embodiment of their expansive spirits .
Moving through the intersection of movement, sound, and set design they explore themes of support, isolation, excess, and resilience.
Abriel Gardner is an LA based Performer and Artist. She works in many mediums including, movement, writing, drawing, sound and sculpture. She graduated from CalArts with a BFA in Dance as well studied at the National University of the Arts in Seoul South Korea. After Graduating she worked with Andrea K.
